SwingKidz
NEW SEASON WILL BEGIN JANUARY16th/18th
This program is offered live in person in Yorktown, Virginia.
There is also a pre-recorded self-study option available at all times online (See Below)
SwingKidz is a youth-oriented West Coast Swing group providing discounted dance opportunities to students ages 3-18 (some assistantship opportunities extend to age 24).
This SwingKidz program is based in the Williamsburg/Yorktown, Virginia, area. ​

The young dancers volunteer, fundraise, and perform throughout the community - giving back to the community that supports them, as well as raising travel funds to perform around the country.
The SwingKidz is a youth dance group made up of dancers (no experience necessary).
The organization provides opportunities for growth in dance, leadership, and community involvement. In the past, students fundraised throughout the year to fund an annual trip to a national swing dance convention where they perform an original routine.
Travel to this event is not required to participate in classes, and will not be a part of the curriculum for the 2022-2023 Season.

Students are required to participate and perform in a full formal performance at the end of the season, as well as several informal performances.
Please submit this form for each child you would like to enroll in the SwingKidz program.

Classes are $50/month per child, with discounted registration fees (50% off for third child and beyond) for families enrolling three or more children.
Please contact us directly to set up your monthly multi child discounted registration payments if you qualify.
The age groups and weekly class times are as follows
SwingBabies (age 3-7) - Thursdays 5:15-6p
SwingKidz Juniors (age 8-12) - Tuesdays 3:45-4:45p
SwingKidz NextGen (ages 15-18) - Tuesdays 4:45-5:45p
SwingBabies - Thursdays 5:15-6:00p, Starting January 18th
Ages 3-7
This class trains our youngest dancers in concepts of rhythm and movement and prepares them for performances.​

SwingKidz Juniors: Age 8-12 - Tuesdays 3:45-4:45p, Start Jan 16th
This class trains students from the very basics of West Coast Swing and prepares them for performance opportunities. Students also participate in service activities in their communities.
SwingKidz NextGen: Ages 13-18 - Tuesdays 4:45-5:45p, Start Jan16
This class trains students from the very basics of West Coast Swing and prepares them for performance opportunities. Students have the opportunity to mentor younger students. Students also participate in service activities in their communities.

SwingKidz II Assistantship (Minimum Age 16) - Enrollment CLOSED
This class trains students in more advanced levels of west coast swing technique, patterns, and concepts. This also includes assistantship opportunities in mentoring dancers in SwingBabies and SwingKidz I classes, as well as other growth opportunities.
